• Led the design spike and end-to-end build of a new video creative type with a branded end card across a Spring Boot service, a WebFlux API gateway, and the Angular web app, including on-demand MP4 export, three canvas sizes, and an auto-approval flow.
• Took ownership of backend production releases: built Prepare, Deploy, and Rollback workflows for two more services, retired a legacy blue/green path, and fixed four bugs in the existing pipeline, putting four services on one release model.
• Overhauled the team's incident response: audited alerting across five services, moved every monitor into Terraform, built an on-call hub of 12 runbooks tied to those monitors, and refined escalation.
• Built a Claude Code skill on the Datadog MCP server that lets any engineer investigate a firing alert and update its runbook from live log evidence; prototyped a Jira MCP server and an AI reviewer agent that scores monitor quality for noise, coverage, and actionability.
• Designed and shipped a view-only access role enforced across two services and both API versions, with contract tests for each role.
• Root-caused and fixed production issues including a message-bus startup race that blocked deploy health checks, a database migration that crash-looped staging, and video jobs killed by the wrong timeout; added per-step timing metrics to the asset pipeline.
• Shipped a new versioned keyword recommendations endpoint in a Python FastAPI service with zero changes for existing clients, and migrated four infrastructure repositories to Spacelift and OpenTofu with no destructive changes.
• Embedded with the reporting team to speed up an analytics dashboard by loading only the open tab’s data with caching, and added browser tracing for every report step.
